May 5, 2014 - Our Trail Life USA troop just held our inaugural Pinewood Grand Prix using your Maximum-Velocity kits. The wheels and axles were fantastic straight out of the box as they did not require any sanding to be quick - my son won the entire race having only added lubrication, no other sanding whatsoever! The blocks that I tested were all true -- square and consistent size. Thank you for your kits, and for taking the time and expense to develop these wheels and axles!

March 27, 2014 - In our three years of competition, out of 45-50 cars we came in 1st twice and 2nd once. The Pro-Hub tool, Pro-Outer Hub Shaver, Pro-Wheel Mandrel, Pro-Axle Press II, Axle Install Support, Balance Stand, Pro-Body Tool, Gap Gauge, as well as the polishes and waxes and the Krytox 100 lube have all been great. Each one gives us an edge. One other thing has helped: being able to call for advice! I bought your book, but having a person to discuss with really helps. It is another 48 weeks till we get our kit for next year, and we can't wait. Thanks so much for your help!

March 16, 2014 - For the third year in a row, with neither he or I ever picking up a pinewood derby car before two years ago, my son won his third "Fastest of the Pack" award. This is something unprecedented in this pack. His younger brother took 3rd in the Pack. Our success is in large part due to the precision building and tuning tools you folks sell. They work! March 12, 2014 - I used your MV Basic Car Kits and entered 20 cars in two classes, in our sectional race. We won 1st place through 5th place in both classes. I have to say these were the best blocks, wheels and axles I have ever used. Anyone looking for a quality kit for any derby won't go wrong with this kit. The block was a lot easer to cut than any other kit I have used. Thank you Maximum-Velocity for great products!

March 2, 1014 - Our son, Thomas, took first place in Webelos I, the combo Webelos I/II, and then the pack championship! As for me, I won the parent's championship! We're told our pack has never had combined scout/parent champs until today. We used your advice, car plans, and products, and we had a great time. The plans were easy to follow and the stuff works. My son's pack had its Pinewood Derby on Friday, and his car blew away the competition. He took first place in every heat, and first in the finals runoff. In most heats his car was over a full car length ahead in distance.

February 17, 2014 - I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for you and your website for all of the info and support. My sons Gunnar and Sawyer, and daughter Ella raced on February 8th in the Arizona Royal Ranger Pinewood Derby event. In Gunnar and Sawyer's class there were 136 entries and Gunnar won 1st place and Sawyer won 4th, separating them by .005 of a second! Ella came in 4th in the Open class (for girls), which she was pleased with. We used your designs, lube and weights and I have no doubt that that may have helped give us the edge! Feburary 10, 2014 - Thank you for your amazing plans and tools! Last year our son came in dead last in his Pack's Pinewood Derby races, and it was a sad day. I swore we'd do better next year. When the time came, I went online for tips, and found your website. We downloaded the Wedge GT plan, ordered the basic speed kit, and the results were -- well, we were hoping to maybe place third or something. Instead Sam won heat after heat until he won FIRST PLACE for his pack.

Feburary 8, 2014 - WOW, Shane's car took first overall!. Everyone is buzzing and I have told them about your website. Your Pro Axle Guide and Axle Support were the best tools that I have ever used. I have an Eagle Scout and have been doing the derby for years, but never with the results I had from your products. I have been using dry graphite from a locksmith in town and I have seen the difference with your Max V Lube.

They ran the car six times on each lane and it took 1st every time. I think they said it went 200 mph. Some of the dads were questioning me. Haha! February 4, 2014 - Thank you for the fine products and attention to detail. My oldest son won his Pack Championship for the second year in a row, and our youngest came in first in his rank and finished fourth in the championship. We followed your advice and did not re-graphite with MaxV between sessions as others did, great insight! Now we are off to Districts to represent our Pack. It looks like we have years of car building ahead of us since we are definitely hooked.
