April 30, 2012 - I’m pleased to be able to write this note to you to describe the raving success of your Speed Bolt design. We purchased your Speed Bolt design back in February in preparation for our local pinewood derby race scheduled at the end of March 2012. Instructions were easy to follow and cutting templates were clear. My 9 year-old son, Andrew, was able to help with many aspects of the work including sanding, painting as well as the final applications of hardware. Design was clean and well balanced. The result was a handsome and fast car which won nearly every heat it entered. We won our local pack’s race and then went on to win at the District Finals as well. My son is so proud of his work. He’ll certainly remember this for a long time, as I can clearly recall working with my father and winning my pinewood derby when I was his age. Thanks for the great plan!

April 30, 2012 - My boys took second and third at their pack pinewood derby race and moved on to the district race. I then purchased the basic speed kit and used it on both cars with them. They ended up with a 2nd place trophy and 10th place out of over 70 cars! Thanks for your great products with top of the line results!!

April 25, 2012 - I wanted to say thanks for your products I have ordered over the past month or so. We built three cars, one for my scout, one for myself and my other son to race in an open division. March 11, 2012 - We had our district race today. Cameron used the Wing car and he won his Weblos II division without losing a heat. He also set a new track record and won Distrct Grand Champion overall. Thank you for your help and great products.

March 9, 2012 - I received my order - thanks for the quick service. I am new to all this, but I had to help my six year old grandson build his car in three days. Bottom line - he took first place in his den race. Then at the district race he took first in his rank and sixth overall. Thanks!

March 4, 2012 - Thanks for providing great products. My 8 year old son Ryan smoked the whole pack yesterday. He won his individual den trophy. February 10, 2012 - My son is bridging over from Webelos to Boy Scouts soon, so we have just finished our Pinewood Derby experience. A rocky start as a Tiger (finishing 72nd out of 72 cars), prompted me to do something different. I found your website and started using your tips, techniques, and tools. Each of the four years since we have brought home the first place trophy in den, pack, and district, plus a few ribbons for some other categories, needless to say Maximum Velocity has been a key part of our success!! Thank you for turning our racing career around! Incidentally, at the final awards ceremony, with my son collecting his third, first place trophy of the day, my wife leaned over and asked "Don't you think this is a little embarrassing?" Not trying to hide my smile I told her, "No, coming in 72nd out of 72 cars is embarrassing!"

January 30, 2012 - Just completed the Pinewood Derby yesterday. Before this year, my son never placed. However, using your axles and wheels, along with your great speed tips, Daniel won every race in his den and was in a 3-way race-off for second in his pack. Out of 14 total races, he won 11 of them, took second twice and third once. Now it's off to the District races! Your products definitely make a difference and we expect to be repeat customers. January 22, 2012 - Although I have experience as a hobby wood worker, I've never built a pinewood derby car before. My son is a Tiger scout this year and this was our first pinewood derby. I wanted to be sure
we knew what we were doing, so we purchased some car plans from your website (my son picked them out) and I bought your speed secrets book along with all the materials we'd need to build a fast car.
We didn't implement every speed tip, but we did follow many of them. I had no idea how well the car would perform against the others, but knew we had done our best and would be happy with any result.Well, results were beyond my wildest expectations.
First, my son's car came in 1st place in the Tiger den. That got us into the finals with 13 other cars from other dens. Then, we came in 1st place in the finals! Out of 60 scouts, our car took 1st place. I couldn't believe it! What a wonderful day!
To top it off, our car also won the vote for "fastest looking car". So, he took home 3 trophies and now we get to go to the district races.
Thanks for all the great info your plans and tips included and for the quality supplies you sell. Without all that great knowledge, we'd never have created a winning car.

January 21, 2012 - We had our Pinewood Derby today and I'm pleased to report that our Vaccinators won several awards! My son's car was voted "Best Bear Car" and took two pack level awards for Best Design and Best Workmanship. In the "Open" category, mine was voted "Most Futuristic." Thanks, Maximum Velocity!
