How to Use this Product
These Steel Weights measure 3/16 x 3/16 x 1-1/4 inches, and weigh 0.19 ounces each. Your 3 ounce shipment of Steel Weights contains sixteen pieces. These weights are generally applied to pine derby cars by creating one or more pockets on the bottom of the car to accomodate the weight. The weights are then glued in place with epoxy. These Steel Weights are very hard, so do not plan to drill or cut them. Instead, use an alternate method to make fine adjustments such as tungsten putty, tungsten, beads, screws, etc. |
