How to Use this Product
Each Steel Cylinder Weight measures 1/2 inch long by 3/8 inch in diameter, and weighs 0.25 ounces each. Your 3 ounce shipment of Steel Cylinder Weights contains twelve cylinders. These weights are generally applied to pinewood derby cars by drilling holes in the side, rear, and/or bottom of the car with a 25/64 inch drill bit (or similar). The weights are then glued in place with epoxy. These Steel Cylinder Weights are very hard, so do not plan to drill or cut them. Instead, use an alternate method to make fine adjustments such as tungsten putty, tungsten beads, screws, etc. a3 ounces nominal weight - actual weight ranges from 2.9 to 3.0 ounces. |
