Standard Truck

THE TRUCK is fun and easy to make. It provides great flexibility for fine-tuning the weight position to help achieve top performance.

In addition to the car kit and basic hand tools, you will need the following supplies to build THE TRUCK:

3/8" Brad Point or Forstner drill bit (can be larger or smaller) - (available at Maximum Velocity or hardware stores)

Coping saw or another type of saw

2.5 to 3 ounces of weight (can be lead, tungsten, or other). The truck in the photo uses a 'barrel' filled with tungsten disks.

The 'windows' were made from a black acetate sold at hobby stores. The decals are offered by BSA through scout shops. The 'barrel' was purchased at a craft store. The top was cut off and the inside was hollowed out with a drill.
