THE DUNE BUGGY catches the eye with a roll cage made from aluminum rod. With ease of building and great performance, THE DUNE BUGGY is a great choice for new builders.

In addition to the wood block and basic hand tools, you will need the following supplies to build THE DUNE BUGGY:

13/32 inch Brad Point or Forstner drill bit (hardware store item)
3/32 inch standard drill bit
Coping saw or another type of fine saw
Tundra Rod¹ - 3 ounces (available from Maximum Velocity!)
Wood Filler
2 feet of 3/32 inch aluminum rod (Maximum Velocity, or hobby or hardware store item - look for "K&S Metal Center")
Custom Designs decal sheet and 1/8 inch red and gold pinstriping were used to customize the car in the photo (pinstriping is available from Maximum Velocity!).

¹Maximum Velocity recommends Tundra Rod for weight. Lead Wire can be used instead of Tundra. However, Lead is toxic if taken internally, so make sure to follow all safety precautions if you choose to use Lead Wire.
