Save time and minimize tool investment! These pinewood derby car kits are based on winning designs and are set-up to accept the maximum weight at the proper weight position. They are cut from a precision block (described above) and then pre-cut and drilled per the selected design. The car body is then packaged with the required weight (except Wedge Kits) and detailed instructions.

- Tools: small flat-blade and Phillips screwdrivers, small pliers, and strong scissors

Soft pine blocks, which accurately duplicate the dimensions of the Cub Scout/BSA block.
Speed axles, with no burrs or crimp marks. Use them as is, or polish a little if desired. We supply five, so you have a spare.
Precision-molded wheels, custom made for Maximum Velocity.

These kits make a great alternative to kits with hubcaps (which tend to fall off during the race) and Awana kits (the MV Basic Car Kit has a much higher quality wood block).
