Making a Measurement
Place the rule on the edge of the block, line up the end and mark the desired location with a 0.5 mm pencil. Either the slot or hole in the rule can be used to mark the location.

|
Locating Axle Holes
Using the end of the rule, mark the axle hole position. Typically 1/8 inch is used.
|
|
Horizontal Line
Insert the pencil at the desired location, and slide the rule along the edge of the block.

Finding the Center of the Block
Lay the wide side of the rule on the top/bottom of the block. Draw a line. Then place the rule on the opposite edge and draw another line. The center of the block will be between the two lines (or coincident with the two lines if the block is exactly 1-3/4 inches wide).
