Formula One

Modeled after the EJ11 Jordan race car, THE FORMULA ONE with not only tear up the track but will also catch the eye of the spectators and judges.
In addition to the car kit and basic hand tools, you will need the following supplies to build THE FORMULA ONE:
- 5/8" and 1/2" (or smaller) Brad Point or Forstner drill bit (hardware store item)
- Coping saw or other saw that can make fine cuts
- Hobby knife
- Files - Flat or shoe rasp (4-in-1) (hardware store items)
- Wood chisel (1/2" or smaller)
- 2-3/4 ounces of segmented lead weight with adhesive removed. These plans assume that each segment is 1/4 ounce and measures 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/8".
- Optional: 1/8" thick Basswood measuring 6" long (minimum) x 1/2" wide (minimum) (hobby store item) - The car can be completely built from the pine block, however, the use of the basswood simplifies creating the wings.
- NASCAR, Stripes and Flames, and Custom Designs decal sheets was used to customize the car in the photo. The driver is a hobby shop item.
