Extended Sports Car







THE SPORTS CAR is a sleek machine that looks good speeding to the finish.

In addition to the car kit and basic hand tools, you will need the following supplies to build THE SPORTS CAR:

• 3/8" or 25/64" (or larger) Brad Point Drill Bit



• Shoe Rasp



• Coping Saw



• Tungsten: 2-1/2 ounces of tungsten cylinders (available from Maximum Velocity!)



• Lead: 1/2 ounce of 3/8" lead wire (available from Maximum Velocity!). I will include the lead wire at no charge if when ordering the tungsten cylinders the following statement is placed in the comment field of the order form: "I am building the Extended Wedge SE - please include the lead wire at no charge."



• 6" of 3/8" dowel rod



• Drag Racer and Turbo decal sheets, and window material from a body skin were used to customize the car in the photo.



• The extended wheel base can be created by either cutting new axle slots with two hacksaw blades, or by drilling axle holes with the Pro-Body Tool. Instructions and templates are provided in the car plan booklet.
