Extended Arrow

THE ARROW doesn't need a bow to give it top speed. And with the two-tone paint job, this car looks great even when it isn't zipping down the track.
In addition to the car kit and basic hand tools, you will need the following supplies to build THE ARROW:
- 1/2" Brad Point or Forstner drill bit (hardware store item)
- Coping saw or equivalent to cut the outline of the car body
- Files - Flat, triangular, and Shoe Rasp (Hardware store item)
- Wood chisel (1/2" or smaller)
- 3-1/2 ounces of segmented lead weight with adhesive removed. These plans assume that each segment is 1/4 ounce and measures 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/8".
- Turbo and Custom Designs decal sheets were used to customize the car in the photo
- The extended wheel base can be created by either cutting new axle slots with two hacksaw blades, or by drilling axle holes with the Pro-Body Tool. Instructions and templates are provided in the Advanced Car Plans booklet.
